Safeguarding their schoolkids

Helping out: Parents (in green vest) assisting pupils of Penang Chinese Girls School in crossing Jalan Gottlieb.

SOME 38 parents have volunteered for the traffic programme launched by the Penang Chinese Girls Primary School last year.

Under the programme, the pupils are taught to wait at a pick-up area until their names are called out. The volunteers will then help the children to get into their respective car.
