Taman Segambut stall leading the race

SEGAMBUT Yong Tow Foo, Atria Rojak and Yoon Yik Wan have bagged the top three spots in the Top 10 list of the best Rojak Buah category for The Star People’s Food Awards.

To-date, Segambut Yong Tow Foo in Taman Segambut has 247 votes, Atria Rojak in Damansara Jaya has 214 votes and Yook Yik Wan in Taman Tun Dr Ismail has 89 votes.

Others in the list are Muar Rojak in Hong Seng coffeeshop in Section 17, Petaling Jaya; Rojak Buah Power in PJ Old Town; Sri Ayu Restaurant in Taman Sri Gombak; Restaurant Wong Ah Wah in Jalan Alor, QQ Rojak in Taman Taynton View, near Taman Connaught; the “I Love U” Rojak Buah in Taman Sri Sinar, Segambut and Nyonya Colors at the Gardens Mall.

You have until April 30 to vote for your favourite rojak buah stall. From April 1 to 10, readers sent in their nominations for the best rojak buah in the Klang Valley.

Those who nominate, vote or successfully share a link have a chance to win prizes such as hotel stays and dining vouchers.

Next month marks the search for the Best Nasi Kandar in the Klang Valley, which is the final category in The Star People’s Food Awards.

From May 1 to 10, readers can send in their nominations for nasi kandar by visiting their favourite eatery, taking a photo of the dish (photos must be your own and not taken from blogs or websites and no less than 1MB in size) and submitting their written description of the food at mob.com.my

Voting will be from May 15 to 31.

The Star People’s Food Awards is a monthly contest that recognises the best Malaysian street food based in the Klang Valley.
