Talented: Tneh has a soft spot for animals and likes volunteering at animal shelters in her free time.

THE Miss Universe Malaysia 2015 is back to provide aspiring beauty queens a chance to shine on the world stage and be an ambassador for the country.

A total of 17 finalists have been shortlisted for this year’s pageant after auditions in Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu.

StarMetro takes a look at the young women vying for the coveted crown.

A second-year law degree student and part-time barista, Tneh loves cooking, travelling and practising latte art.

She can play the violin and trumpet, and was a member of the marching band in school.

Passionate about helping animals, she volunteers at animal shelters in her free time.
