Caring for flood victims

Team effort: Asmadi (centre, in red and yellow T-shirt) and the hospital’s team of volunteers before going to the relief centre in Pasir Salak.

INSTEAD of resting at home and celebrating the New Year holiday with their families, volunteers from KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital came together to help flood victims in Kampung Gajah housed at the MRSM Pasir Salak flood relief centre.

Medical officers and consultant specialists provided medical check-ups and prescribed medication as well as supplements to almost 1,000 evacuees during their visit.
