A growing problem No action taken to clear dumpsites in the city despite dengue threat

Garden waste: The rubbish in Taman Pinggir Rapat Perdana.

WITH the continuous rise in dengue cases, people were relieved when the Ipoh City Council announced that it would be hiring additional lorries to clear up illegal dumpsites in the city.

Along with that, the council also gave its town services phone number so that ratepayers could report the location of rubbish piles that they come across.
