This year, the Teochew-style Yee Sang has four choices – Tossed Whole Abalone; Salmon Fish and Sweet Pear; Slice Jade Abalone and Jelly Fish; Alaska King Crab Stick and Caviar and Avocado and Fresh Fruit. There is an option of traditional plum sauce, home-made mango sauce or Sichuan hot peanut sauce to go with the dish. There are three enticing set menus for lunch and dinner – Opulence, Longevity and Happiness – with a blend of old traditions and modern tastes ranging from RM1,888 nett to RM3,888 nett per table. Welcome the Year of the Pig with a buffet line-up of “good luck” dishes available until Feb 4 at Utara Coffee House. Guests will be able to enjoy Chinese Fried Chap Chye with Mushrooms, Yong Chow Fried Rice in Lotus Leaf, Pak Far Chicken, Deep-fried Garoupa Thai Style, Stir-fried Kam Heong Lala, and Wok-fried Tiger Prawns with Buttered Coconut Almond Flakes which are some of the dishes on the menu. The 28K Golden Koi Fish Yee Sang priced at RM168 is all about captivating diners and pleasing their taste buds.
