A range of whimsical mooncakes under the Yu theme are presented by Five Senses at The Westin Kuala Lumpur this festive season. The mooncakes are priced between RM138 nett and RM240 nett per set of four pieces.

Master chef Alex Chan from The Emperor Chinese Restaurant has handcrafted a selection of mooncakes, which are available until Oct 4. The halal mooncakes come in a box of two and four pieces. The signature Crystal Skin Pandan Lotus Paste with Single Yolk Snow Skin Mooncake derives its blue hue from the bunga telang (blue pea flower). New baked mooncake flavours include Six Coarse Grains Paste, Coconut Pandan Paste with Single Yolk, and Green Tea Paste with Single Yolk, while traditional versions such as Low Sugar White Lotus Paste with single or double egg yolk, Red Bean Paste and Pandan Lotus Paste. Priced between RM26 nett and RM33 nett per piece, the mooncakes are also available at Dorsett Kuala Lumpur, Dorsett Putrajaya, Silka Maytower Kuala Lumpur and Silka Cheras Kuala Lumpur.
