Enjoy limited-time dishes with variety of pina coladas

TONY Roma’s is Smokin’ but don’t call the fire department.

It is their limited edition “flavour” on the menu from now until May 28, where customers can savour the restaurant’s take on smoked-infused food with a choice of four new items.

This is complemented with a choice of six different types of pina coladas.

Start your meal with the Avocado Fries with Cilantro Lime Sauce priced at RM14.90. The creamy avocado wedges are dipped in batter and deep-fried, served with roasted tomatoes and an accompanying sauce helps balance out the flavours.

There is also the Smokey Chicken Skewers for RM31.90.

The mushroom rice is made with white rice and mixed with wild mushrooms and fresh button mushrooms, giving the dish its colour and resulting in a combination that does not disappoint.

Tony Roma’s is where people get their ribs fix so this is included in the promotion.

The smokey beef ribs and chicken skewer combo comes with vegetables drenched in smokey barbecue sauce and mashed potatoes at RM59.90.

For seafood lovers, there is Lobster, Shrimp Pasta and Hickory Grilled Blue Hake Fish Platter.

Imported lobster is paired with succulent shrimp scampi pasta and grilled blue hake fish complemented with homemade barbecue butter.

The platter also comes with the special mushroom rice, French fries and vegetable medley.

The RM159.90, the seafood platter is great for sharing between two to four people.

“We decided to go with the tropical route and make our diners feel as if their are relaxing by the beach while they enjoy their smoked barbecue meal, which explains the mocktails with pineapple,” said Tony Roma’s Malaysia marketing manager Ong Li Peng.

In their tropical sensation mocktails, Tony Roma’s has the original pina colada (RM15.79); Bahama Mama – refreshing pina colada mixed with orange and pineapple juice; Pineapple Sunrise – a sweet and sour version of pineapple and orange juice, and Tropical Orange Freeze – pina colada blended with orange juice, all priced at RM11.55 each.

Customers can also enjoy either a Pina Strawberry Swirl, or Pina Mango Swirl at RM17.91 each.

“Customers are broadening their horizons on flavour profiles, and slow-smoked meats are especially popular this year.
