HAVING recently gone on an expedition to search for frogs in the jungle on an unrelated assignment, I had my reservations when a friend suggested I have some frog meat for supper.

I did try it once, many years ago, but I could barely remember what it tasted like, so I decided to give it another go at Restoran Kou Shui Porridge in Jalan Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.
