NASI lemak may be associated with the Malay community but locally, it is a dish synonymous with each and every Malaysian.

While a typical serving of nasi lemak consists of rice, sambal ikan billis, sliced cucumber, fried ikan billis and peanuts, the Chinese community have been known to serve a non-halal version of this Malaysian favourite.
