Accolades for Nurul and Loh

KUCHING: Wushu exponent Loh Jack Chang, who won two gold medals in the KL SEA Games, has been named Sarawak Sportsman 2015/2016. The Sarawak Sportswoman award went to taekwondo expert Nurul Hidayah Abdul Karim during the presentation of the Sarawak Sports Award 2015/2016 here.

They both took home RM5,000 cash, a trophy and certificate. Loh, who was nominated along with swimming prodigy Welson Sim Wee Sheng and taekwondo exponent Augustine Rudy Grocer, took the accolade for his achievement in the 2015 World Wushu Championship in Jakarta, winning a gold and bronze medal.
