THE 60th state-level National Day celebration was a mixture of grand parade and colourful performances depicting Penang as a melting pot of culture.

Traditional Malay, Chinese, Indian and bangra dances kept the crowds entertained as they soaked up the atmosphere at the packed streets around Esplanade.
