THE Bookerville Carnival Sale is back in its fifth instalment.

For the first time ever, the mega book fair makes its debut at Setia City Convention Centre (SCCC) in Shah Alam until Sept 3, from 10am to 9pm daily.

Located opposite Setia City Mall, the fair offers fantastic deals on books, stationery, toys, gifts, IT gadgets, tasty treats and more.

There are daily mascot parades, clown shows, face-painting, celebrity appearances, story-telling, fun games and lucky draws.

Spanning more than 2,787sq m of exhibition space, book fans can expect discounts up to 70% on a wide selection of international and local books including new arrivals and current best sellers.

There are Buy-1, Free-1 deals and Value Buy Items from as low as RM8, and MPH Readers’ Circle (MRC), KADS1M and CIMB Bank cardholders get to enjoy extra discounts.

With every purchase of RM100, shoppers can enter The Lucky Dip for a mystery prize, which includes a complimentary hotel stay for two including buffet breakfast at the award-winning ibis Styles Hotels, Nando’s meal vouchers for its flame-grilled Peri-Peri chicken, Hokkaido Cheesecake vouchers and others.

MRC members can redeem free popcorn or cotton candy with a minimum spend of RM50 in a single receipt.

A minimum spend of RM120 in a single receipt will also entitle members to an exclusive Bookerville Carnival Sale Goodie Bag, limited to the first 200 customers daily.

Little ones can meet international sensation Dora The Explorer and Boots on weekends, brought in exclusively by Nickelodeon’s Nick Jr.

Children also stand a chance to win exclusive prizes in the colouring contests by Nickelodeon, My Little Pony and Faber Castell throughout the five-day carnival sale.

Also meet Rexie the T-Rex in the rare Dino Edu Expo, which lets visitors travel back in time and experience volcano eruption, fun demo, fossil research and 3D live motion.

Meet iconic author Ramlee Awang Murshid and A-list actor Zul Ariffin as well as new stars Adik Al Rayyan and Farah Ahmad in a special meet-and-greet session for the upcoming novel-to-movie adaptation of Tombiruo: Penunggu Rimba, made possible by Astro Shaw and Karangkraf.
