Maritime agency to verify collision location

ISKANDAR PUTERI: The state government will leave it to the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) to verify if the location where a US warship collided with a merchant vessel in the waters off Teluk Ramunia belongs to Malaysia or Singapore.

Johor Health, Environment, Education and Information Committee chairman Datuk Ayub Rahmat said MMEA would have to clarify on the territorial aspect of the matter.
