Security has improved at Kuala Pari wholesale market


The fish section of the Kuala Pari wholesale market had been plagued by thefts until recently when police started patrolling the area.

SECURITY at the Kuala Pari wholesale market has improved following intervention by the police and Ipoh City Council.

Thanking councillor Tony Khoo Boon Chuan for highlighting their plight, Ipoh Fish Wholesale Merchants Association chairman Lee Kam Ching said there had been no cases of robbery since the police conducted their high-profile policing programme there on June 8.
