Miri: Sarawak Welfare Department is upbeat about a two-year programme called “Welfare Micro-Business Project” to help recipients of government aid to live on their own income.
Sarawak Tourism Minister Datuk Lee Kim Shin said the programme taught participants, who are called clients under the programme, survival skills to limit their reliance on financial aid.
