Sri KL team wins cheerleading competition for eighth consecutive time

Star Media Group Content Development chief operations officer June Wong (back row, fifth from left), chief revenue officer Lim Bee Leng (back row, sixth from left) and XOX Bhd group chief executive officer Ng Kok Heng (back row, seventh from left) with eight-time winners Cyrens.

IT WAS double the joy for Sri Kuala Lumpur as reigning champions – the Cyrens and the Rayvens – emerged triumphant at CHEER 2017 last Saturday, taking home both the High School Senior All-Girls and High School Junior All-Girls trophies and RM1,500 cash each.

Leading the Cyrens in their eighth consecutive victory was a sweet send-off for Cyrens captain Cassandra Yang, who will head overseas to university next year.
