MORE companies are coming on board to support Cheer 2017, Malaysia’s premier inter-school cheerleading competition.
To help participants take care of their hygiene and stay fresh, Kao Malaysia Sdn Bhd will be contributing products from Asience and Laurier.
Participants can keep their hair hydrated and shiny throughout the day with Asience Inner Rich shampoo and conditioner.
It features nourishing and moisture-retaining ingredients such as liquorice essence for the scalp and lotus flower essence for the hair.
“As cheerleaders they would have to use products like hairspray and hair gel.
“These products may be damaging, so by sponsoring Asience products, we hope it will help keep their hair in optimum condition,” said Kao Malaysia brand executive Carmenn Wong who was once a cheerleader.
According to Wong, the shampoo and conditioner are suitable for both men and women, especially those with dry, frizzy, and unmanageable hair.
In addition, the girls will experience total protection and freedom through Laurier’s Super Slimguard sample pack consisting of Super Slimguard pads, Active Fit Deodorant pantyliners and Safety Long & Wide non-perfumed pantyliners.
Kao Malaysia will be giving out 240 units each of Inner Rich shampoo and Inner Rich conditioner (both 220ml) and 100 units of the Laurier Super Slimguard sample pack.
Cheer 2017 grand finals will be a one-day event at Tropicana City Mall, Petaling Jaya, on Aug 19.
The event, organised by Star Media Group’s youth platform R.AGE, is supported by the Youth and Sports Ministry, the Education Ministry and the Cheerleading Association and Registry of Malaysia.
Mobile telecommunication product and service provider XOX Mobile is the official partner for Cheer 2017, with Sunway Education Group as prize sponsor, and Nivea, Oishi Green Tea, Canmake, Starbucks, Good Virtues Co, Lost World of Tambun and Kao Malaysia as goodie bag sponsors.
