THE Fu De Ci Temple in King Street, Penang, will be closed from mid-August for repair and restoration work that is expected to take between 18 and 24 months.

A branch of the Thai Pak Koong Temple in Tanjung Tokong, the 152-year-old building has long suffered from a leaking roof which caused water to seep into its walls.
