KUCHING: The state government should demand an explanation from Petronas on its disposal of a 10% stake in Petronas LNG9 Sdn Bhd, which owns the MLNG Train 9 project in Bintulu, to Thailand’s national oil company PTTGL Investment Ltd for US$500mil (RM2.14bil).
Sarawak PKR vice-chairman See Chee How said it was “unacceptable” for the equity stake to be disposed to a foreign company.
