THE MANAGEMENT of Mydin Meru Shopping Mall has been instructed by the state government to take measures to improve the safety of its lifts following two incidents of trapped people in just over a month.
Non-Governmental Organisations, Civil Society and Anti-Crime Committee chairman Datuk Samsudin Abu Hassan said the mall’s management has been told to install intercoms and also closed-circuit television cameras within the four lifts in the mall.
