A SEA of smiles filled the hall as Penang’s southern fishermen received their monthly subsistence allowances from the Federal Government, issued by Fisheries Development Authority of Malaysia (LKIM).
For the 1,246 fishermen of the Southern Zone Fishermen’s Association (PNK), the RM300 aid was precious money to keep their boats shipshape.
