KUCHING: Water catchment areas in Sarawak should be gazetted as quickly as possible to prevent prohibited activities from being carried out there.
The 2016 Auditor-General’s Report said water authorities were slow to gazette water catchment areas as the last gazettement was done in 2003 for the Kapit water catchment area.
