Merdeka Garden residents face decades-old drainwater dilemma

For decades, Jalan Habib Abdullah in Taman Merdeka, Ipoh, has been hit by floods whenever it rains heavily.

RESIDENTS of 10 houses along Jalan Habib Abdullah, Merdeka Garden in Ipoh, live in constant fear whenever they hear the sound of thunder.

It’s not the noise that scares them but the aftermath as the road outside their homes floods with drainwater.
