KOTA KINABALU: Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad (Kenanga Investment Bank) has opened its latest branch in Sabah’s east coast Sandakan town.
The Sandakan branch, which is the 32nd branch in the country, is the third one to be opened in Sabah after Kota Kinabalu and Tawau.
The opening of the new branch is in line with the company’s strategy to expand its business across Malaysia and to grow market share in the stockbroking industry, the company said in a statement.
Kenanga Investment Bank is currently the largest independent investment bank by equity trading volume and value, as well as one of the top brokerage houses with the largest network of remisiers in the country.
Kenanga Investment Bank’s branch opening in Sandakan was officiated by Batu Sapi MP Datuk Linda Tsen Thau Lin, also present were Kenanga Investment Bank’s Retail Business, Equity Broking head Tan Heng Meng, director Anderson Wong Tse Ming.
