PARTICIPANTS of the #AnakAnakMalaysia unity walk can look forward to some refreshing Oishi Green Tea to quench their thirst after the walk.

F&N Beverages Marketing Sdn Bhd is sponsoring RM6,000 worth of Oishi Green Tea Original Flavour bottles.

“The sponsorship is an extension of F&N’s close working relationship with The Star, as we have stepped in as sponsor for numerous events over the past few years,” said F&N Services (F&B) Sdn Bhd sports marketing and activation manager Engku Isyamuddin Tuan Losin.

“As Oishi is fairly new to the market, we hope to create greater awareness of the ready-to-drink green tea among participants at this family-oriented event,” he said.

The drink combines the health benefits of green tea with flavours tailored to today’s demand.

Oishi, which means “delicious” in Japanese, is brewed from 100% organic tea leaves grown on certified organic plantations.

The leaves are brewed using a signature recipe that captures the authentic yet delicate taste of Japanese green tea.

Organised by Star Media Group in partnership with Eco World Development Group Bhd, the walk will start at 6.30am on Aug 27 at Dataran Kemerdekaan Shah Alam in Section 14, Shah Alam.

#AnakAnakMalaysia is held in conjunction with National Day celebrations.

Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah will be gracing the event, while noted public figures such as Eco World Foundation chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye, Shah Alam mayor Datuk Ahmad Zaharin Mohd Saad and local celebrities will also be taking part.

There will also be a nationwide distribution via The Star and The Borneo Post of a record one million wristbands designed by local cartoonist Reggie Lee.
