Md Sohaimi: Works to deepen Sungai Riau in progress

KUANTAN: Works have started to deepen the river in Sungai Lembing in order to reduce flooding problems and in the long run help make plans to start a floating market a reality, said Sungai Lembing assemblyman Datuk Md Sohaimi Mohamed Shah.

He said he hoped works to deepen Sungai Kenau that runs through the area would be completed as soon as posible.
