Drop in traffic offences during Raya period

The Awareness Automated Safety System (Awas) seems to have worked in disciplining motorists as fewer summonses were issued throughout the recently concluded festive season operation in Selangor.

Selangor Road Transport Department (JPJ) director Nazli Md Taib said 1,327 traffic summonses were issued throughout the 15-day Ops Hari Raya Aidilfitri joint operation from June 18 to July 2.
