WORLD badminton star Datuk Lee Chong Wei is asking Malaysians to fully support Ride For Malaysia, just like how they support him wholeheartedly every time he competes.

Lee, who is the most successful Malaysian Olympian in history, is encouraging all to turn up in full force to ride for Malaysia on July 30 in Sunsuria City, Putrajaya.

“Let’s demonstrate that Malaysians can come together as one people and one nation, just like how all of you have always supported me,” he said.

“I am personally endorsing this event as I believe it is a commendable effort to forge unity and patriotism ahead of National Day.”

Lee is convinced that events of such nature cut across race and religion, and is a good way to promote unity and harmony.

He said it would also be a good opportunity to meet and get to know well-known personalities taking part in the event.

Among the celebrities attending the event are Kavita Sidhu, Yvonne Lee and Chloe Chen, RasAngela Wong, Sharizan Borhan, Patrick Teoh, national paralympic cyclist Alvin Lim, DJ Dave, Baki Zainal and Peter Davis.

Lee added that it would be a good opportunity for families to cycle together and enjoy the scenery and fresh air at Sunsuria City during Ride for Malaysia.

“I would like to commend Star Media Group and Sunsuria Bhd for collaborating on this event,” he said.

Join in the Ride for Malaysia and you could scoot home on a silver edition Vespa LXV 150.
