Workers applying the finishing touches to the OKU Mercy Path which has been built for this year’s St Anne’s Novena and Feast at St Anne’s Church in Bukit Mertajam.

PILGRIMS, especially those on wheelchairs, may find it easier to move about during St Anne’s Novena and Feast this year as the Church of St Anne management has constructed a new ramp to cater to those with special needs.

Parish priest Monsignor Henry Rajoo said the 70m long and 2m wide concrete ramp called ‘OKU Mercy Path’ would offer pilgrims an alternative route alongside the staircase to get to the St Anne’s Shrine (old church).
