Amateur operators to extend services to firemen and rescuers in cases of emergency

MIRI: Four amateur radio communication operators in Sarawak have offered to help the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department to facilitate faster and wider communication in cases of emergency.

Representatives of Sares (Sarawak Amateur Radio Emergency Services), ARCS (Amateur Radio Club of Sarawak), MARC (Miri Amateur Radio Club) and REDS network held a meeting with the department key officials in Kuching.
