A CLERK took personal loans to settle debt incurred as a result of a scam, but that landed herself in another scam instead.
Chan Ke Li, 23, took personal loans to try and obtain a “US$20,000 gift” (RM86,000) from what is known as a advance-fee scam, and is now being pressured by someone to pay commissions for another loan she did not obtain.
