DEVELOPERS of new landed housing projects on Penang island must now allocate at least one end lot for a kindergarten or nursery.

City councillor Nur Zarina Zakaria said the new ruling applies to housing plans submitted to the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) from June 22 onwards.
