FROM an inflatable bedpan to a wheelchair that will transform into a commode or bed, academicians and students of Asian Institute of Medicine, Science and Technology (AIMST) University in Semeling, Kedah, have been busy coming up with medical innovations.

The bedpan can be inflated with water or air and it even comes with a disposable bag made from banana trunk fibres combined with biodegradable polymers.
