HARI Raya Aidilfitri is a time for family gatherings, and renowned jeweller Habib never fails to drive home the importance of togetherness.
Habib has launched its annual “Rantaian Kasih” campaign, which means “the ties that bind”, to cultivate strong values and relations.
Themed “Budayakan Rantaian Kasih”, the launch was held at Slate@The Row in Kuala Lumpur, where Habib presented its latest TV commercial depicting this theme.
The message reminded viewers to cherish their loved ones and remember their roots, culture and traditions no matter how busy or successful they were.
The seven-minute commercial featuring local personalities Aiman Hakim Ridza, Anne Abdullah, Datin Seri Maria Farida and Sweet Qismina can be viewed on Habib’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Habib managing director Datuk Seri Meer Habib hopes this will be integrated into society to develop love and respect for each other to create a peaceful and harmonious life.
“We realised that many people are getting distracted by a lot of things these days.
“They will balik kampung for gatherings, take selfies and become engrossed with their phones, leaving their parents aside.
“We should internalise this culture by not just using it as a slogan, but making it part of our culture.
“We want the strong message from our TV commercial to remind people to spend time together with their loved ones.
“But we also need to ensure ties among Malaysians are maintained, regardless of race, religion and position,” he added.
To add glitter to the festive celebration, Habib also introduced its Raya collection.
A fashion show was held to showcase the much-anticipated range to guests and the media.
Created by Habib’s own designers, the Arabesque collection is inspired by the rhythmic linear and geometric patterns found in Islamic art and Arabian or Moorish decor.
The collection of necklaces and ring designs comes in 18k yellow, white and rose gold encrusted with glittering diamonds.
The beauty of unity, connections and relationship are depicted through their simplicity, versatility and practicality.
Tailor-made for women who wear the hijab, the latest designs from the Aura series, especially the long necklace, feature floral designs encrusted with elegant diamonds and multi-coloured gemstones.
Brand followers will also be excited with the new rose gold and diamond range in Habib’s signature collection, Oro Italia 916, featuring European-style design with high gold content handmade in Italy.
Children can also match their mother’s Hari Raya jewellery from the Children’s Collection made from 916 gold.
Men are not left out as Habib offers butang baju melayu and men’s ring made of palladium and studded with diamonds to complement the baju melayu.
Habib’s Hari Raya collections are available at all 32 showrooms nationwide during the Rantaian Kasih campaign from now until June 26.
Customers can also buy from the selected jewellery collection online as Habib has launched a shop-in-shop on Lazada.
