GOH Yat Tong, 61, was having a cup of coffee last week, when he saw dark coloured water gushing into Sungai Pinji near his shed in Kampung Pasir Pinji.

The former baker said he was puzzled and wondered if there had been an oil spill or something of the sort near his area. He said there were no strange odour when he went near the river for a closer look.
