Car wash operators under scrutiny

JOHOR BARU: The state government has urged local authorities to step up its efforts to ensure car wash operators instal sewage filters to prevent potentially harmful chemicals from flowing into natural water sources.

Johor Public Works, Rural and Regional Development Committee chairman Datuk Hasni Mohamad said there was concern over the chemicals used by car wash operators to carry out their businesses.
