Yee’s simply good with her hands

Thanks to Lee (right), Yee (left) now uses her talent for handicraft to earn a living by working from home making accessories such as hair ties and crochet dolls.

PLAYING under the sun was among the simple luxuries that Charmaine Yee could not afford to enjoy as a child because she was born with brittle bone disease.

Instead of running, skipping and hopping like most children, Yee had to crawl on the floor or be wheelchair-bound.
