Sarawak posted a total revenue of RM5.91bil last year, a decrease of 15%, compared with RM6.955bil in 2015.
Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh said the decrease in revenue of RM1.045bil was mainly because of lower dividend from oil-and-gas companies and lower cash compensation in lieu of oil-and-gas rights.
