MELAKA: Loss of properties due to fires has reduced by 95%, from RM646mil in 2015 to RM34mil last year, said state Fire and Rescue Dept director Kamarulzaman Malik Abdullah.
He said the properties saved from being razed were recorded at 706%, totalling RM1.5 billion compared to RM443mil in 2015.
