Fire and Rescue personnel from Miri and coastal villagers helping to free a stranded whale 30km south of Miri.
MIRI: The 10 metre-long whale that was stranded on a beach yesterday morning 30km south of Miri has been freed thanks to the effort by Bomba Miri and villagers.
The whale, which weighed at least 1.5 tonnes, was beached at about 7am along the shores fronting the South China Sea.
