SINGAPORE: There is a lot of warmth in the ties between Singapore and Malaysia, not only because of their close proximity, but also the many similarities both nations share.
Malaysian High Commissioner to Singapore Datuk Ilango Karuppannan added that these characteristics were present 50 years ago when both countries were one nation.
