More visit Pahang this year

KUANTAN: The number of tourist arrivals to six major tourist destinations in Pahang in the first two months of this year is reported to have increased compared to the corresponding period last year.

State Tourism and Culture Committee chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Sharkar Shamsudin said the increase was due to the continuous and aggressive campaign carried out by the state government to lure more tourists to the state in conjunction with the Visit Pahang Year (VPY) 2017.
