Eateries in Sibu hit hard by higher costs

It is now common to hear complaints that eateries now serve food in smaller portions but at higher prices.

SIBU: Most earteries here including coffeeshops claim that will have to close down if they do not raise the price of their food and beverage.

Sibu Coffeeshops and Restaurant Owners Association advisor Chiew Kuan Heng said the rising prices of raw materials had direct impact on the eateries.
