THE highest score — eight marks — can be earned by Penang schools vying for the Green School Awards (GSA) 2017 if they abstain from using plastic bags and polystyrene food packaging.

The second highest score of six marks will be awarded to schools growing vegetables or producing recycled and ‘upcycled’ products to sell.
