INSTANT-beverage producer Chek Hup Sdn Bhd has come on board as a sponsor of the Ipoh Starwalk 2017 with a RM30,000 contribution of T-shirts and products.
Chek Hup Sdn Bhd managing director Joseph Tan Huang Kew said participants of the May 7 fun walk would receive Chek Hup Classic Colombian 3-in-1 Microground White Coffee in their goodie bags.
“This is one of our latest products, which has been in the market for less than two years,” he said, adding that participants are also in for a treat as they will be able to sample an array of other Chek Hup products at its booth during the event.
Tan said Chek Hup, with its mission statement of “We value life”, is not just about instant beverages.
“While we are committed to developing and manufacturing products that are as natural as can be, we are also keen on giving back to society.
“What better way to do this than by contributing to Ipoh Starwalk, an event that encourages a healthy lifestyle while strengthening family bonds – all of the values that Chek Hup has been trying to promote since its establishment in 1965,” said Tan after presenting the company’s sponsorship to Star Media Group representative Cheryl Yew.
Also present was Chek Hup marketing director Bernard Leong and marketing manager Foo Mei San.
