RM397,000 given to temples, churches and gurdwaras

THE Penang government has given RM397,393 to 20 non-Islamic houses of worship in the state as of last year.

Exco member Jagdeep Singh Deo said the amount was disbursed through the state’s trust fund for non-Islamic houses of worship (Ribi).
