IT IS going to be a month-long glittering festival as homegrown jeweller Habib takes diamond celebration to the next level.
Habib Diamond Fest 2017 returns for its 18th year to commemorate the birthstone of April – the diamond – from now until the end of the month, across Habib showrooms nationwide.
Diamond lovers can look forward to discounts of up to 70% on the brand’s wide selection of jewellery while getting acquainted with its latest collections showcased at the launch of the Diamond Fest 2017 campaign.
Going by the theme “Unique Like A Star”, Habib wants to capture people’s unique personalities, akin to the different characteristics of diamonds, said Habib Jewels Sdn Bhd managing director and Diamond Fest founder Datuk Seri Meer Sadik Habib.

“This campaign aims to remind people of their own uniqueness, and we encourage you to embrace this by celebrating with a diamond, because diamonds are unique like you.
“Habib has always perceived its market to have a sense of uniqueness which we should cherish, and this gives us the inspiration to produce diamond jewellery that will give you a ‘starlight experience’,” he explained.
He added that it was beyond just selling diamonds as the company hoped to continue creating awareness of the different types and values of diamonds so that customers can be better informed and confident when making a purchase.
The launch of the exhibition at Suria KLCC saw the unveiling of not only the latest Diamond Fest logo, but also the campaign ambassador – former beauty queen and model Deborah Henry.
She owned the runway with grace, elegance and beauty as she posed in Habib’s Unique Like A Star collection before the cameras.
This was followed by models sporting jewellery collections from the Diamond Fest couture as well as Habib’s exclusive partnering brand, Hearts on Fire.
Habib’s newest ranges, including the Arowana diamond collection in white, rose and yellow gold jewellery inlaid with diamonds, inspired by the shiny scales of the elegant fish can be seen here.
The Evo collection is another addition comprising rings and bangles encrusted with diamonds and uniquely shaped for a modern and futuristic look.
Aside from the Rose Gold collection, there is the Favourable collection for those who prefer simple yet elegant designs; and the Men’s collection consisting of diamond rings in silver palladium casing.
Hearts on Fire design director Ilaria Lanzoni will make an appearance on April 7 from 3pm to 5pm.
