Kota Marudu folk to receive native customary land grants

KOTA KINABALU: More than 2,000 families in Sabah’s northern Kota Marudu is set to receive their native customary land, thanks to the state government’s Native Customary Rights Rapid Unit (Unit Pantas NCR) programme.

Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili said a total of 2,299 lots would be established on the 6,000ha land with each family allocated up to a maximum of 6ha plots.
