MALAYSIANS are now living more demanding and active lifestyles, juggling multiple roles at work and at home, leading them to seek smarter choices to achieve better health.

To offer the convenience of a healthier solution, Nestle has introduced its latest Bliss Plus range of premium yogurt beverage that comes with a synergistic combination of digestive goodness.

The latest addition to the Nestle Bliss family is power-packed with three key components – live cultures, inulin and real super fruit juices.

Speaking at the launch in Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur, Nestle Malaysia and Singapore chilled dairy business executive officer Wilfrid Foo said the new products were ideal for those who wanted great tasting goodness that was also good for the digestive system.

“Nestle Bliss is all about digestive health and we believe that if you want to look and feel good, it starts from within.

“Consumers deserve smarter choices to achieve better health, and Nestle wants to give them those options,” said Foo.

For some, it may also be a challenge to consume adequate portion of fruits while on the go, let alone super fruits.

“To have pomegranate, passion fruit and cranberry on busy days is not an easy task, so we listened to our consumers and put these goodness into one convenient bottle.

“While live cultures are common, we have inulin as the core of the product which assists in digestion,” said Foo, adding that research and development for this range took one-and-a-half years.

Inulin, a prebiotic most commonly obtained from chicory roots, is a type of food that encourages good bacteria growth in the gut to support a holistic intestinal environment while live cultures are a type of probiotic that helps break down foods for better absorption.

Priced at RM5.60 per bottle of 700g, Nestle Bliss Plus features three flavour combinations – Apple, Pomegranate and Cranberry; Apple, Passion Fruit and Lemon; and Apple, Red Beet and Prunes; known for their intrinsic benefits of antioxidants, vitamins and fibre.
